 Agricultural Engineer – Kenya & Ghana 3488IR

 

Our client is a market leader in the producing and processing of flowers and vegetables for export. They supply markets in the UK, Europe and USA and are one of the largest growers, packers and marketers of their product area in the world. They are committed to sustainable and profitable growth through their market expertise, financial strength and international contacts.

 

Due to their continued growth and development, they now require a number of energetic and highly motivated, self starting Agri-Engineer to major on agri-machinery maintenance at a number of their key sites in Kenya and Ghana. The successful applicant will be part of the Operations Directors team. 

 

The Qualities we want to see

·         Resilient and adventurous attitude to succeed in the challenging working African environment.

·         Farm &/or pack house machinery engineering experience from agriculture, horticulture or food manufacturing.

·         A hands-on approach, capable of being fully involved with the day to day challenges.

·         Highly flexible and open-minded.

·         Entrepreneurial and confident with a strong team orientation.

·         Formal Engineering qualification.

 

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity to join a company who are entering a hugely exciting period and are continually looking to support and strengthen their team in Kenya and Ghana.

This role would particular suit a young farmer, fresh out of college looking for an exciting and different challenge for a few years prior to returning to the family farm !
